Pls excuse my previous comment of a few minutes ago; I had somehow missed the link to the missing info. But what about Sycamore m., Acer pseudoplatanus, and Box elder, A. negundo? Both are certainly in Bkln and Queens, which after all are part of LI, and I’d be ssurprised if they were not found somewhere in Nassau and Suffolk.
